"...t he event was shortened to just one day,”

According to him, the event offered a variety of agricultural, fishery, and livestock products, as well as handicrafts, fashion, and culinary items.

“Pasar Tumbuh was originally scheduled to run until August 31, 2025. However, due to a demonstration, the event was shortened to just one day,” he said on Monday (9/1).

Taufik explained that most popular products at bazaar included healthy drinks, fresh vegetables, and processed fish products.

“We'll certainly evaluate this first event, especially to improve promotion so more people become aware of the products offered, whether from agriculture, fisheries, livestock, or other derivative goods,” he added.

He also mentioned that Pasar Tumbuh is planned to be held regularly, for example, every two months. The goal is to make it easier for the public and East Jakarta government employees to access fresh products.

“Pasar Tumbuh initiative received strong support from farmer groups (Poktan) and MSMEs or Jakpreneurs. It served as a strategic opportunity to promote their products to the public, civil servants, and other stakeholders, as well as to build connections among sellers and urban farmers,” he explained.

Rizky (38), a Jakpreneur from Jatinegara Sub-district, expressed his excitement and appreciation for the event.

“It was a great event and a good opportunity to expand our market and connect with other farmer groups and entrepreneurs,” he shared.

Meanwhile, Irma (41), owner of d’Juice, was happy to sell and promote her cold-pressed juice products. She was especially grateful that KPKP Sub-agency helped register her Business Identification Number (NIB).

“Thank God, all the products we brought sold out. Thanks to East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency for giving us the chance to take part in Pasar Tumbuh MSME Bazaar,” she said.
